Our Process: Stage 3: Construction & Pilot Testing
You have your blueprint, a documentation
of:
- the interfaces and business tools needed by your users
- the inputs to and
outputs from each business process
- the rules and actions governing data in each
business process
Your blueprint is an investment in your vision.
Now, we construct the solution.
Construction & Pilot Testing
This is the time in which you begin to see your solution becoming real. We construct
the business logic, create the databases, and craft the web pages: all towards the
goal of delivering the solution.
All development is completed in logical pieces called “modules”.
Each module, once constructed, is rigorously tested by itself and within the developing
solution. Quality is assured by testing each module using the inputs and outputs
defined by your blueprint. We sign off that we tested the module as per your blueprint
… and then we give the module to your team, to test.
We want to give you the opportunity to test for two reasons:
- to provide confidence that the module works as you deemed it must (in your blueprint);
and
- to immediately address if testing criteria are insufficient.
By the way, while you are “test driving” your modules, you may want to add more
features. No problem. We stand ready to recommend the best way to incorporate these
features into your solution.
